By Any Dreams Necessary helps students discover and pursue a passion for the arts and to gain access to higher education by providing financial and educational support to underserved students and schools.

Vision

By Any Dreams Necessary was created to urgently address the under funding of and lack of exposure to the arts in education, particularly with regard to educationally underserved students and schools. By Any Dreams Necessary is a collective of artists and educators dedicated to nurturing the creative spirit and educational aspirations of youth. By Any Dreams Necessary urges all youth to dream, with their head in the clouds and feet on the ground.

History

The founder and Executive Director of By Any Dreams Necessary is Garrett Naiman, an educator and community activist, who although not an artist in a traditional sense, is passionate about the arts, as well as dedicated to equity and access in education. Understanding that By Any Dreams Necessary needed to be made up of both artists and educators, he immediately sought partnership with Teruo Artistry, a creative lifestyle company whose own ethos is rooted strongly in the mission of By Any Dreams Necessary. Teruo, along with artists, educators and entertainers from the Bay to LA have come together to see that By Any Dreams Necessary is an organization that powerfully and soulfully assists educationally underserved students reach their creative and academic potential.
